Lebanese Singer | Founder of Dandane دَندَنِة the Band
Tony Kabchi is a Lebanese singer whose deep connection to music has shaped his artistic journey. His passion for singing began in 2013 when he joined École d’Art et de Musique to study piano and made his first choir appearance. Over the years, he dedicated himself to mastering vocal techniques and classical singing, eventually discovering his true musical identity in oriental melodies. To refine his craft, he pursued studies at the USEK School of Music, focusing on oriental vocal techniques.
Currently, Tony is a pre-diploma student at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music, where he is furthering his expertise in Oud and oriental music theory.
In 2022, he founded his own oriental band, Dandane, at a time when Lebanon was grappling with political and economic instability, compounded by the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Against these challenges, Dandane emerged as a beacon of hope, bringing joy and positivity through music.
Tony’s exceptional voice and dedication have led to significant collaborations, including three consecutive years of participation in the Institut Français du Liban Music Festivals, a featured role in The Stage Show on LBCI, and a memorable performance with Abeer Nehme at O Beirut.
Throughout his career, Tony has performed at a diverse range of events, from weddings and festivals to exclusive venues and private gatherings. His performances have graced prestigious locations across Lebanon, Africa, and Doha, including Casino du Liban, Phoenicia Beirut, Raffles Doha, Banyan Tree Doha at La Cigale, The Plaza Doha, LXR Hotels & Resorts, and Al Habtoor Grand Palace Hotels, among others. Whether on grand hotel stages or vibrant festival arenas, Tony captivates audiences with his powerful voice and engaging stage presence, leaving a lasting impression on music lovers everywhere.
