Music-A's Founder & GM. Featured at DWP Congress 2021:

Insights on Wedding Industry Recovery

On March 18th, 2021, Roger A-Smith, Founder & General Manager of Music-A, was featured in the Destination Wedding Planners (DWP) Congress insider Magazine Blog, alongside other esteemed professionals from the global events and wedding industry. Known as the ultimate business platform for destination wedding planners, the DWP Congress connects world-class wedding specialists, creative partners, and suppliers to bring dream weddings to life.

In his interview, Roger emphasized the importance of micro weddings in the post-COVID landscape. He explained that larger wedding companies might struggle, while adaptable businesses catering to smaller, more intimate events will thrive. According to Roger:

"There are certain suppliers that won’t be affected by the post-COVID timing and will flourish since they were used to adaptation during normal times. Big companies will suffer and struggle either by not adapting and losing market share or the market will be saturated within the target of big weddings."

Roger’s perspective on creating supreme micro-wedding experiences highlights the shift toward more personalized, controlled, and smaller-scale weddings.
